Kyrgyz Wrestlers to Compete in International Tournament in Poland

Kyrgyzstan is sending its national wrestling teams to compete in a significant international event in Poland. The 'Ziolkowski, Pytlasinski & Poland Open-2026' tournament, scheduled to take place in Warsaw from August 26 to 30, will feature both women's wrestling and Greco-Roman disciplines.

The Kyrgyz delegation includes a strong lineup of athletes across various weight classes. In Greco-Roman wrestling, competitors such as Kubanych Arynov (60 kg), Aftandil Taalaibek uulu (63 kg), Razzaq Beishekeyev (67 kg), Amantur Ismailov (72 kg), Yryskeld Makstbek uulu (82 kg), Asan Zhanyshov (87 kg), Azat Salidinov (87 kg), and Murat Botoev (130 kg) will vie for medals.

The women's wrestling team also boasts formidable talent. Sezim Zhumanazarova (59 kg), Gulnura Tashtanbekova (65 kg), Meryem Zhumanazarova (68 kg), and Aiperi Medet kyzy (76 kg) are set to represent Kyrgyzstan on the international stage. Their participation underscores the country's commitment to developing and showcasing its wrestling prowess.
