Kyrgyzstan: Brick factory construction begins in Aidarken

Construction of a brick manufacturing plant, designed to produce up to 400,000 bricks per day, has commenced in Aidarken, located in Kyrgyzstan's Batken region. The initiative, spearheaded by Mega Traffic Group LLC, received a significant financial boost from the State Development Bank of Kyrgyzstan, with the total project cost estimated at $7 million.

The groundbreaking ceremony marked the beginning of the project, drawing the attendance of Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in Batken region, alongside officials from the State Development Bank and local residents of Aidarken. The plant is slated for completion by December 2026.

Once operational, the facility is projected to generate as many as 100 new employment opportunities. "The launch of the plant will increase the number of jobs in Aidarken, contribute to the development of the local economy and help meet domestic demand for construction materials," stated the presidential representative’s office, highlighting the project's anticipated economic and supply chain benefits for the region.
