Kyrgyzstan busts international synthetic drug trafficking ring

Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security (SCNS) has successfully disrupted a major drug trafficking operation, dismantling an international organized crime group responsible for supplying and distributing highly dangerous synthetic drugs within the country. The operation led to the arrest of three Kyrgyz citizens.

During a targeted special operation, authorities detained three individuals identified as A.T.A., aged 24; A. u. D., aged 26; and O.R.N., also aged 26. A significant quantity of synthetic narcotics was discovered and seized from a vehicle used by A.T.A. and A. u. D. Furthermore, another substantial batch of drugs was found during a personal search of O.R.N.

The seized substances are classified as highly dangerous synthetic drugs, posing a serious threat to public health and safety. Authorities estimate the total amount confiscated could yield between 6,000 and 7,000 individual doses, with an approximate black market retail value exceeding 10 million Kyrgyz soms. Investigations are ongoing to identify other potential members of the criminal network and trace the supply routes used to bring these drugs into the country.
