Kyrgyzstan Implements Digital System for Livestock Disease Monitoring

Kyrgyzstan is taking a significant step forward in modernizing its veterinary sector with the implementation of a new geographic information system. The Veterinary Service for Livestock, Pastures, and Forage Development has successfully developed and rolled out the System for Recording and Monitoring of Outbreaks. This innovative digital platform is designed to enhance epizootic control by providing a centralized, map-based visualization of critical facilities and disease data.

The system's capabilities extend to precise visualization on an interactive map, operational management of veterinary measures, and robust data collection, storage, and analysis. Crucially, it integrates with existing government information systems, promising a more cohesive and efficient approach to animal health management.
