Kyrgyzstan marks 82nd anniversary of Talas region with development focus

Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, participated in the 82nd anniversary celebrations for the Talas region on July 25. During the event, Kasymaliev addressed residents, emphasizing Talas's historical importance as a "land of peace, unity, and good neighborly relations." He also honored prominent figures associated with the region, such as the epic hero Manas, soldier Cholponbai Tuleberdiev, and writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

The Chairman detailed ongoing infrastructure and development initiatives within Talas, noting that these projects are being implemented with the support of President Sadyr Japarov. Several significant social and economic projects are slated for completion around Kyrgyzstan's 35th independence anniversary. Key among these are the full reconstruction of the Manas Ordo historical and cultural complex and the construction of the Aitmatov Aalamy cultural and memorial complex.

Further development includes the modernization of the Suusamyr, Talas, Taraz international highway and the commissioning of the Bala-Saruu small hydropower plant. Kasymaliev also chaired a meeting focused on the preparations for the national independence anniversary events, which will be held in Talas from September 11–12.
