Kyrgyzstan: Power outages expected in Bishkek and regions on August 29

Residents in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek, and surrounding regions should prepare for possible power outages on August 29, according to announcements from the electric grid companies.

The Sokuluk district of the Chuy region is particularly affected. Planned power interruptions are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the village of Selektsionnoye, affecting streets such as Proektiruyemaya, Yerkoyeva, Tash-Rabat, Manas, Parkovaya, Selektsionnaya, 1st Selektsionnaya, Kipkalova, Plodoovoshchnaya, Ak-Zhol, Alykulova, Arykbaeva, Raznaya, Tagay Biya, Tursunbaeva, Usubalieva, Yyiman Nuru, Yiksan Ata, and Elebaeva. The Frunze alley, kindergarten No. 92, and a school will also be without power. Additionally, the "TETS-2" residential area, encompassing streets like Yntymak, Tunuk, Tynchtyk, Ala-Archa, Dostuk, and Usubalieva, will experience disruptions.

Further planned outages in the Chuy region will occur from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the village of Asylbash. Affected streets include Kaynazarov, Nooruzbay, Shamshi, and the Beyshenaly school. The village of Orok will also see disruptions on Proektiruyemaya, Turgunbek Usubaliev, and Orokskaya streets.

Other areas impacted include the village of Jal, with planned outages on Proektiruyemaya and Sharshenov streets, and Kashka-Bash, where streets such as Sadovaya, Arykbaeva, Izmanova, Novostroyka, Vinogradnaya, Proektiruyemaya, Asankul, Kokonbaeva, and Ismailova will be affected.

These scheduled interruptions are part of the operational maintenance by the electric grid enterprises to ensure the stability and reliability of the power supply system.
