Kyrgyzstan, Russia to boost cooperation on labor migration training

Kyrgyzstan and Russia have convened to enhance their collaboration on preparing skilled personnel for labor migration. The meeting, held at the Center for Independent Certification and Validation, brought together representatives from both nations to address key aspects of this crucial cross-border movement.

Discussions centered on fostering cooperation in training specialists who meet the evolving requirements of the labor market. Both sides explored ways to broaden the professional horizons for Kyrgyz citizens seeking employment abroad and to establish robust methods for evaluating the proficiency of these workers. The engagement also involved Russian employers, employment agencies, and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, alongside Kyrgyz officials from the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration.

The outcome of these productive talks was the signing of a memorandum. This agreement aims to solidify and advance cooperation in the fields of labor migration, the development of skilled professionals, and the mutual recognition of qualifications. The initiative underscores a shared commitment to facilitating smoother and more effective labor migration processes between the two countries.
