Kyrgyzstan's agricultural research institute to acquire new machinery and vehicles

Kyrgyzstan's Center for Competitiveness in Agribusiness is seeking to acquire a range of agricultural machinery and vehicles. The initiative aims to bolster the capabilities of the Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture and the Department for the Expertise of Agricultural Crops and Horticulture.

The planned procurement, detailed on the state procurement portal, involves a total budget of 90.3 million Kyrgyz soms. The tender encompasses 14 distinct lots of equipment. These include specialized machinery for large-scale harvesting, specific tools for breeding and seed cleaning, equipment for fodder preparation, and vehicles for transporting staff. Additionally, the plan includes the purchase of grain harvesting combines, a small-scale experimental combine for breeding and plot work, seed cleaning machines, two balers, a seeder, and a cultivator.

A significant portion of the budget, 6.2 million soms, is allocated for a passenger minibus equipped with air conditioning. Beyond the mere supply of the machinery, the selected vendor will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and servicing of the equipment. Interested parties have until September 7, 2026, to submit their bids for this comprehensive tender.
