Kyrgyzstan's Talas region upgrades entrance with 750 lights, tourist facilities

Reconstruction and landscaping efforts are progressing at the entrance to Kyrgyzstan's Talas region, according to Ermat Dzhumaev, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy.

A new rest stop for tourists and visitors is under construction. This facility will feature modern restrooms, a coffee shop, a store, and an electric vehicle charging station, aiming to enhance the visitor experience.

The project also includes the reconstruction of the entrance arch, which displays a monument to Manas. The surrounding area will be landscaped, and new lighting and rest benches will be installed. Furthermore, 36 kilometers of power lines are being laid from Taldy-Bulak village to the arch via the Otmok Pass, with plans to install at least 750 lighting systems along this route.

Dzhumaev stated that the lighting of the main road is intended to improve traffic safety, reduce accident risks, and enhance the overall appearance of the region's entrance.
