Kyrgyzstan's Yrys Ordo Congress Hall to Host State and Private Events

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov inaugurated the new Yrys Ordo Congress Hall on August 24, announcing it will serve both state functions and private events. Constructed entirely with state funding, the expansive complex aims to boost Kyrgyzstan's international profile.

The modern, multifunctional center spans over 39,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 2,000 guests. It includes a large conference hall, a banquet hall, and advanced meeting rooms. Japarov highlighted its capacity to host significant international gatherings, such as sessions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, positioning Kyrgyzstan as a burgeoning hub for international diplomacy.

Beyond official use, the Yrys Ordo Congress Hall and its eight accompanying guest houses will be accessible for commercial rental by private individuals and organizations. This dual-purpose approach is intended to generate revenue while showcasing the nation's capabilities in hosting large-scale events. The president expressed gratitude to all involved in the complex's construction, from department heads to builders and engineers.

The Yrys Ordo Congress Center will become a venue for major forums of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, the Eurasian Economic Union and other organizations. Hosting such events will enhance Kyrgyzstan’s international standing. Our country will become a new center of international diplomacy.
