Kyrgyzstan opens 'Yrys Ordo' congress center to boost global diplomacy

Kyrgyzstan has officially opened the "Yrys Ordo" state congress center in Bishkek, a new venue intended to host high-level summits and global forums for major international organizations. President Sadyr Japarov highlighted the center's role in hosting events for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and the Organization of Turkic States.

Its location at the foot of Boz-Böltök, near the "Yntymak Ordo," is symbolic, referencing historical figures like Tuleberdi and Baitik Batyrs who made significant decisions for the Kyrgyz people in the region.

The architectural style of "Yrys Ordo" merges a modern, futuristic aesthetic with traditional Kyrgyz ornaments, aiming to become a signature landmark for Bishkek. The interior is adorned with artworks by prominent Kyrgyz artists, including Gapar Aitiev, Leonid Deymant, and Turgunbay Sadikov, further enhancing the center's prestige and reflecting the nation's artistic talent. The presence of sculptures of historical figures like Mahmud Kashgari and Yusuf Balasaguni, alongside depictions of Manaschi Sayakbay Karalayev, Suymonkul Chokmorov, and Chingiz Aitmatov, adds cultural depth and national pride.
