Kyrgyzstan starts second round of university admissions

Kyrgyzstan has initiated the second phase of its university admissions campaign, a crucial period for aspiring students seeking higher education. The Abiturient Online automated information system is managing the process, with applicant registration scheduled to remain open until 2 p.m. on July 22.

During the initial round of admissions, a substantial number of applications were processed. A total of 42,600 electronic application vouchers were submitted. Of these, 15,300 were for state-funded places, indicating strong demand for government-supported education, while 27,300 applications were for tuition-based programs. Following this initial phase, universities extended recommendations for admission to 29,500 applicants.

The comprehensive admissions campaign is structured across five distinct rounds, providing multiple opportunities for students to secure a place. This multi-stage approach aims to accommodate a wide range of applicants and ensure a thorough selection process. Admissions are not limited to universities; colleges that accept students who have completed 11 years of schooling are also participating in the Nationwide Testing-based admissions.
