Kyung Hee Cyber University and Construction Association Sign Partnership Deal

Kyung Hee Cyber University has formalized a strategic partnership with the Korea Construction Engineering Association through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on May 19th. This collaboration is designed to foster the development of specialized talent within the construction engineering sector and promote mutual growth between the two institutions.

The Korea Construction Engineering Association, a leading organization representing over 1.08 million construction professionals, plays a crucial role in protecting their rights and advancing the industry through research and education. The partnership signifies a commitment to supporting these professionals in an ever-evolving industry landscape.

It is meaningful to provide our excellent educational infrastructure for construction engineers, who are key players in national economic development. We will actively support association members to grow into convergent talents who can lead the future construction industry through high-quality higher education without constraints of time and space.

Under the terms of the agreement, members and employees of the association, along with their immediate families, will be eligible for significant tuition fee reductions at Kyung Hee Cyber University. Specifically, association members enrolling in undergraduate programs will receive a 50% tuition discount per semester, including special and regular terms. Those pursuing graduate studies will also benefit from discounts, with a 20% reduction for up to four semesters in general graduate programs and five semesters in special graduate programs.

Kyung Hee Cyber University President Byun Chang-gu expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "It is meaningful to provide our excellent educational infrastructure for construction engineers, who are key players in national economic development." He added that the university would actively support association members in becoming convergent talents who can lead the future construction industry through high-quality higher education accessible regardless of time and place. Association President Park Jong-myun echoed this sentiment, hoping the partnership would serve as an opportunity for members to enhance their professional capabilities through Kyung Hee Cyber University's education.
