La Libertad Avanza (LLA), the party of President Javier Milei, is actively working to forge the broadest possible coalition to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election in Buenos Aires province. The party aims to unite with the Pro party, the Radical Civic Union (UCR), localist parties, and allied mayors to present a formidable opposition to the incumbent Peronism.

Within LLA, two prominent figures are emerging as potential candidates for the governorship: national deputy Sebastián Pareja, who leads the party in the province and is considered a trusted associate of Karina Milei, and Chief of Staff Diego Santilli. Santilli brings the advantage of having secured victories in previous legislative elections and having been a gubernatorial pre-candidate in 2023.
