Lagos lawmaker inspects road projects, promises more dividends

Residents of Oshodi/Isolo Constituency I are set to benefit from significant infrastructure upgrades as Lagos State lawmaker Stephen Ogundipe conducted a thorough inspection of four ongoing road construction projects. The lawmaker, representing the constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed his deep satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, underscoring the state government's commitment to enhancing the lives of its citizens.

We came to inspect the level of work, and I am impressed with what I have seen. This demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure in Oshodi.

The projects, which include the rehabilitation of Oluwasanmi, Baba Ode, Deji Adeoye, and Alhaji Sokoya streets, are being executed by Lagfield Construction Company Limited. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy by the Lagos State Government to bolster connectivity within one of the state's most vital and densely populated commercial hubs. Ogundipe specifically lauded the support from President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the Speaker of the State Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, for their roles in making these developments possible.

Beyond the physical infrastructure, Ogundipe also addressed the community's concerns regarding security and electoral violence, emphasizing the peaceful nature of the local populace. He attributed instances of unrest to external elements, urging residents to maintain Oshodi's positive image. The lawmaker assured constituents that this is just the beginning, with plans for further infrastructure development in areas like Mafoluku, Shogunle, and Ewu as part of a comprehensive development agenda for the constituency. The site engineer confirmed that the projects are on track for completion, with some phases ahead of schedule, reflecting efficient project management and adherence to engineering standards.
