Lagos monarch launches free JAMB training for 500 students during anniversary

Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, has initiated a week-long celebration marking his 10th coronation anniversary, commencing with a significant educational initiative. The monarch is sponsoring free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) training for 500 Senior Secondary School 3 students in the Igbogbo, Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.

This 10th anniversary is a recognition and celebration of a decade of Kabiyesi’s achievements in ensuring that Igbogbo receives quality attention, impactful social amenities and projects that have improved the overall well-being of our people and brought peace, progress and prosperity to the Igbogbo Kingdom.

The anniversary events, formally unveiled at the monarch's palace, are designed to celebrate a decade of "purposeful and impactful leadership." According to Adesegun Ogunlewe, Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Oba Kasali's reign has been characterized by a focus on peace, infrastructure development, and enhancing the overall well-being of the community.

Beyond the educational outreach, the anniversary program includes traditional prayers, a medical outreach, an awareness rally against sexual and gender-based violence, and a novelty match. Other activities planned are the distribution of palliatives, visits to orphanage homes, a public lecture, and sporting events, reflecting a comprehensive approach to community engagement.

Ayeni highlighted the monarch's welcoming nature and his support for initiatives that foster peaceful coexistence and attract diverse ideas, contributing to the kingdom's development and prosperity.
