Lamine Yamal, Hansi Flick lead LaLiga EA Sports Award winners for 2025-26 season

LaLiga has revealed the recipients of the 2025-26 EA Sports Awards, recognizing outstanding individual performances throughout the season. Barcelona's young sensation Lamine Yamal has been honored as the season's best player.

Yamal played a pivotal role in Barcelona's league title victory, delivering a series of exceptional performances. The forward contributed significantly with sixteen goals and twelve assists, showcasing his impact on the Catalan club's success.

Complementing Yamal's achievement, Barcelona's coach Hansi Flick was named the best coach. Flick guided the team to their second consecutive league title, amassing 94 points with a distinct and effective style of play. His tactical acumen and ability to instill a recognizable footballing philosophy were key factors in the team's dominance.

Other notable award winners include Levante's young forward Carlos Espí, who earned the title of best U23 player. Espí was a revelation for his team, scoring eleven goals and proving instrumental in their fight to avoid relegation. Barcelona's goalkeeper Joan García received recognition for the best save of the season for a spectacular intervention against Espanyol. Real Madrid's attacking midfielder Arda Güler was awarded best goal for his remarkable long-range strike from over 65 meters against Elche.
