Landsbankinn and Monerium Partner on Stablecoin Integration

Icelandic bank Landsbankinn is teaming up with fintech company Monerium to explore the integration of stablecoin technology. The partnership will investigate how Landsbankinn can leverage Monerium's infrastructure to provide its customers with access to stablecoins and other financial services on blockchain platforms.

Stablecoins, which are traditional currencies on blockchains, are increasingly used in international payment processing. The collaboration will examine aspects such as the issuance and redemption of euro stablecoins, currency exchange, and the flow of funds into and out of traditional payment systems.
