Large Bus Driver's Turning Error Smashes Store Sign, Shatters Windows

A large bus driver's miscalculation while turning right resulted in a collision with a store's sign, shattering its glass windows. The incident occurred on August 6 around 3 p.m. in Taoyuan District as the driver, identified as Mr. You, attempted to turn from Jieshou Road onto Deshou Street.

Despite noticing the difficulty of the turn and braking several times to adjust his angle, the driver ultimately failed to account for the bus's turning radius. The right side of the vehicle struck the store's sign, causing significant damage. Fortunately, no other vehicles or individuals were harmed in the accident.

The collision blocked the intersection, forcing other vehicles to drive against traffic or take detours. Police responded promptly to manage the scene, process the accident, and direct traffic. Once the bus was moved, traffic flow returned to normal.

Authorities are using this incident to remind drivers of large vehicles about the importance of being aware of their vehicle's length and the inner wheel difference.
