Reports indicate that the power failure began around 7:34 AM. Employees within the compound found themselves in darkness, with many gathering at the entrance to escape the heat and fanning themselves. The outage lasted until approximately 8:34 AM, when power was fully restored.

While the Executive Yuan has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident, sources suggest that the issue stemmed from internal wiring problems. It is understood that the Executive Yuan contacted Taiwan Power Company early in the day to investigate. The power company dispatched personnel to assist equipment vendors in resolving the issue, and external factors have reportedly been ruled out.
