Lebanese death toll from Israeli attacks rises to 3756

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday that the number of fatalities resulting from Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 3,756. This grim toll reflects the ongoing impact of the conflict on the civilian population.

In addition to the deaths, the ministry's daily report from the Health Emergency Operations Centre indicates that the number of people injured during the same timeframe has increased to 11,632. These figures highlight the severe humanitarian consequences of the sustained hostilities.

The latest casualty update coincides with reports of Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, particularly around the city of Nabatieh. The Israeli army issued evacuation warnings for Nabatieh and more than 20 other locations, signaling potential escalations. These strikes occur amid indications that the United States and Iran may be nearing a deal to end the wider Middle East conflict, which has drawn Lebanon into the fray through Hezbollah's actions in support of Tehran.
