Lee Ho-jin Inaugurated as 9th President of Korea Volleyball Federation

Lee Ho-jin, the chairman of Taekwang Group, officially assumed the role of the 9th president of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) during an inauguration ceremony held on July 3rd at the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

The transition marks a new chapter for the federation, with Lee Ho-jin taking the helm. He succeeds the previous president and brings his extensive experience from leading the Taekwang Group.

During the ceremony and a subsequent press conference, Lee Ho-jin articulated his vision for KOVO. He emphasized a sense of heavy responsibility and pledged to actively listen to the concerns and suggestions from individuals involved in the sport at all levels. This commitment signals a focus on grassroots engagement and addressing the practical needs of volleyball.

Lee's appointment follows his selection by the KOVO board and general assembly on April 28th. His tenure is expected to focus on strengthening the federation's operations and fostering the growth of volleyball in South Korea.
