Lee Ji-hye clarifies luxury car license plate disappearance: 'Not theft or tax issue'

Broadcaster Lee Ji-hye has resolved the minor commotion surrounding her luxury car's missing license plate. She took to social media to dismiss rampant speculation, stating clearly that neither theft nor tax issues were involved. The incident began when Lee discovered the front license plate missing after dropping her daughter at kindergarten. She promptly filed a report and completed the reissuance process at the district office, receiving a new plate within five hours. Shortly after, citizens reported finding the license plate on the street near Misae Apartment and Sinsadong Middle School. Upon visiting the location, Lee successfully recovered the original plate, which had simply become loose and fallen off. Expressing gratitude to the citizens who found it, Lee also advised other car owners, particularly those with certain models, to check their front license plates as they can sometimes be fitted loosely. Lee, married to tax accountant Moon Jae-wan since 2017, has two daughters and remains active on YouTube and television.
