San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo continues his impressive run in Major League Baseball, extending his hitting streak to five consecutive games. The South Korean star maintained his batting average above .300, currently standing at .303 after recording one hit in five at-bats during the Giants' recent game against the Texas Rangers.

Lee, often called the 'Grandson of the Wind,' has been a consistent performer in August. He has hit safely in every game this month, boasting a .364 batting average and an OPS of 1.102. This strong performance marks a significant rebound from July, when he struggled with a .244 average and a .653 OPS, his lowest of the season.

In the game against the Rangers, Lee's hit came in the fifth inning with one out and a runner on first, a single to right field. However, his effort wasn't enough to prevent the Giants from a 0-6 defeat, as the team managed only eight hits and failed to score. Lee is among a select group of seven players in MLB currently hitting .300 or higher this season.
