Lee Sang-woo shares update on eldest son with developmental disability: “Our family bond has deepened”

Singer Lee Sang-woo will talk about his two sons and his family life on KBS 1TV’s “Let’s Live Together with Hwang Shin-hye.” The program is scheduled to air at 7:40 p.m. on the ninth.

Lee said that caring for his eldest son, who has a developmental disability, brought the family closer. He will also share his feelings about his two sons, who grew up caring for and relying on one another.

Lee became a father for the first time in 1994 and had his second son in 2005. He began teaching the younger boy music when he was four. The son now works as a vocalist and composer with the band Cant Be Blue, whose content has recorded 26 million views.

The program will also revisit Lee’s connections with the other guests. He previously played friends with Hwang Shin-hye in a drama and appeared as a married couple with Yang Jung-ah. He said he became close to Shin Gye-sook through riding motorcycles together. Lee also teased Hwang, his same-age friend, while she cooked, telling her, “Why are you so clumsy?” and “You’re sloppy.” He will discuss his career as a singer in the 1980s and 1990s.
