León vs. América: Time and channels for the Leagues Cup third-place match

América’s decade-long wait for an international title continues after its semifinal defeat in the Leagues Cup. The Mexico City club will now face León in the third-place match, hoping to secure its best result in the competition before turning its attention to the 2026 Liga MX Apertura.

León will also have a clear prize in sight. A victory over América would give La Fiera a place in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

The third-place match is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6, at 4 p.m. Mexico City time. Apple TV and Imagen Televisión will broadcast it. Afterward, Toluca and Monterrey will play at the same venue to decide the champion of the binational tournament.
