Leonel Fernández to swear in new Fuerza del Pueblo members, visit Duarte province

Leonel Fernández, the leader of the Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) party, is set to induct new members and engage with communities across the Dominican Republic this weekend.

The party announced that the agenda begins Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with a swearing-in ceremony at the Hotel Sheraton Santo Domingo. This event marks a significant step in the party's organizational growth.

On Sunday, Fernández will travel to the province of Duarte. There, he will preside over additional swearing-in ceremonies in the municipalities of Castillo and Villa Riva. During his visit, he will also hold meetings with local leaders and representatives from various sectors within the province.

Fernández's tour in Duarte will continue his initiative of consulting with productive sectors. This effort, which began last week in Montecristi, Dajabón, Santiago Rodríguez, and Valverde, aims to gather proposals from producers, merchants, entrepreneurs, and other social actors. The party intends to integrate these suggestions into its government program, reflecting a commitment to inclusive policy-making.
