Lexus NX: When Will the New Model Arrive?

Lexus is preparing a substantially updated NX for the Greek market, where the model will launch in early 2027. Customers will be able to place orders from September 2026.

The NX launched Lexus’s "Next Chapter" development strategy in 2021, introducing changes in design, safety, powertrains and driving performance. It also became the brand’s first plug-in hybrid model. Since then, Lexus says the NX has strengthened its position in Europe and become one of its key global models, alongside the compact LBX.

The new version goes beyond a routine mid-cycle update. Lexus is revising the exterior and interior design, powertrains, comfort, road behavior, safety systems, multimedia features and overall driving experience. The model retains the modern "Vital x Tech" design language, while adopting a sportier and more harmonious appearance.

Technically, the company describes it as the most advanced NX yet. The plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ will use Lexus’s sixth-generation hybrid technology, bringing more power, an estimated electric range of more than 100 kilometers and faster battery charging. Fuel consumption and emissions are also expected to improve, while towing capacity will rise to 1,500 kilograms.

The NX 350h full hybrid will also receive improvements to performance and efficiency, with the same towing capacity. Both powertrains are designed to comply with the upcoming Euro 7 standard and are expected to record the lowest CO2 emissions in their respective classes.

New premium equipment will include the latest-generation LexusConnect multimedia system and Lexus Safety System+ as standard. The NX will also introduce Lexus Sensory Concierge, which coordinates sound, lighting, climate control and fragrance in the cabin according to the mood or type of journey.
