Rumors of a high-performance Lexus RX variant have gained traction following the sighting of a camouflaged test vehicle in Europe. This potential new model, possibly branded as the Morizo RR, would follow the LBX as the second performance SUV from Lexus.

Foreign media outlets have leveraged spy shots to create speculative renderings of the RX Morizo RR. These visualizations suggest a design that builds upon the RX 500h F Sport Performance, featuring larger air intakes, significantly widened fender arches to accommodate 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, and low-profile performance tires. Brembo red brake calipers, a lowered ride height, a rear diffuser, and large dual exhaust tips are also depicted, all contributing to a more aggressive and sporty aesthetic.

Under the hood, the RX Morizo RR is anticipated to house a newly developed 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine from the Toyota Group, augmented by hybrid technology. This powertrain is projected to deliver a formidable 600 horsepower, positioning it as the most powerful SUV in Lexus's history. The vehicle is also expected to undergo aerodynamic and suspension retuning to enhance its handling capabilities, with key competitors identified as the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and BMW X5 M.
