Liga MX Unveils Aereus 40 Pro III Ball for 2026-27 Season, Extends Voit Partnership

The Mexican football league, Liga MX, in collaboration with sports brand Voit, has officially presented the Aereus 40 Pro III. This new ball will be used throughout the 2026-27 season of Mexican professional football, marking a significant moment in the league's history.

The unveiling ceremony was led by Francisco Iturbide, Director General of Operations, Competitions, and Development for Liga MX, and José Carlos Elizondo, Director General of Voit. Their presence underscored the enduring and historic alliance between the league and the sports manufacturer, which now spans an impressive four decades.

Beyond the men's league ball, the event also showcased new uniforms designed by Voit for referees officiating in the upcoming football year. This expansion of the partnership highlights Voit's comprehensive involvement in various facets of Mexican football.

Voit's commitment extends further, as the brand will also serve as the official ball sponsor for the Liga MX Femenil, the women's professional football league. Additionally, Voit will provide uniforms and apparel for the Liga MX All-Star team, set to compete against a team of stars from the United States in the All-Star Game.

Reflecting on the long-standing collaboration, Iturbide stated, "Forty years of history, four decades of rolling together on the pitches, of shouting goals, driving matches, and witnessing the journey of growth of Liga MX." He noted that goals are the true protagonists of the sport, with the 2025-26 season recording an average of 2.9 goals per game, totaling 458 goals in the Clausura 2026.
