Lin An-ke's clutch double powers Seibu Lions to victory, ending two-game skid

Taiwanese slugger Lin An-ke delivered a crucial game-tying double for the Saitama Seibu Lions, helping them to a 4-1 victory over the Orix Buffaloes and snapping a two-game losing skid. Lin, batting third as the designated hitter, came through in the seventh inning with a clutch hit that leveled the score.

The Lions' offense struggled early, trailing 0-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on first, Lin faced Orix's hard-throwing reliever Yamazaki Soichiro. He locked onto a 154 km/h fastball, driving it to left field for a double that brought in the tying run. Lin advanced to third on the throw but was replaced by a pinch-runner.

Following Lin's hit, the Lions capitalized on an Orix error to take the lead. They added two insurance runs in the eighth inning, and closer Kaiya Hiroya secured the win in the ninth. The victory propelled the Lions into second place in the Pacific League standings. Lin finished the game 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI, a hit-by-pitch, and a walk, raising his batting average to .229. This marks his second consecutive game with a hit.
