CBA guard Lin Ting-chien has returned to Taiwan to join the Taipei Fubon Braves in the TPBL, with a "sky-high" contract that has sent shockwaves through Taiwanese basketball. Liu believes Lin's presence will provide significant stimulation for Taiwanese professional basketball players, ultimately improving the overall skill level. Notably, Liu's son, Liu Heng, is also pursuing a basketball career and currently plays for the strong team Xinyi Junior High School. Liu mentioned that Lin Ting-chien has always been his son's idol.
