Lina Talžūnaitė gets the acting call she dreamed of as a child

As a child, Lina Talžūnaitė filled notebooks with declarations that she was already an actress. Years later, the dream unexpectedly became real when she received a call asking whether she wanted to appear in a television series.

“I remember it happened like this: they called me and said, ‘Hello, Lina, would you like to act in a series?’ I immediately said, ‘Yes, I do.’ I had manifested it so much since childhood that I even wrote in notebooks that I was 12 and already an actress. So when they called and asked whether I could act in a series, I immediately said yes,” Lina said.

She made her debut in the new LNK series “Ne visi namie” with her brother, Andrius Talžūnas. The first experience brought excitement as well as anxiety. At the beginning, the siblings arranged to meet and read the script together because they felt braver as a pair.

The siblings told the “Šeškinės 20” program that they quickly connected with the other actors. Lina said their years of creating online content also helped them feel more confident in front of the camera, because they already write scripts, perform and film themselves. Andrius said he can spend two or three hours on TikTok as a way to relax, while Lina said her screen time can reach about eight hours and that her phone is more than entertainment. The program also began a new season with Paulius Vaitiekūnas joining long-time presenters Giedrius Savickas and Džiugas Siaurusaitis.
