Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field is set to become a focal point of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosting six matches in the United States, Canada, and Mexico tournament.

The iconic stadium, located in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will stage five group stage games and one Round of 16 match. With a capacity of approximately 69,000 and international-standard facilities, it stands as a key venue for the world's premier football event.

Since its opening on August 3, 2003, the stadium has hosted significant events, including a friendly match between Manchester United and Barcelona, where Patrick Kluivert scored the first goal in its history. It has also been a venue for the U.S. national team, CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, and pre-season tours for elite global clubs.

Known as the home of the passionate Philadelphia Eagles fans, the stadium boasts a distinctive and intimidating atmosphere. It also briefly served as the temporary home for Major League Soccer club Philadelphia Union in 2010.
