Lithuania: Fuel prices on Monday show mixed trends

Fuel prices in Lithuania saw varied movements on Monday morning, with diesel and gasoline prices decreasing while gas prices slightly increased. Consumers faced diesel prices ranging from 1.86 to 2.16 euros per liter, settling at an average of 2.02 euros. This represents a 0.39% drop compared to Friday's average of 2.03 euros.

The lowest diesel price of 1.86 euros was observed at four Emsi network stations. Conversely, the highest price of 2.16 euros was recorded at 26 Viada stations, eight Circle K stations, a Degta station in Vievis, and a Šventosios investicijos station in Šventoji.

Gasoline prices fluctuated between 1.67 and 1.95 euros, with the average price at 1.78 euros. This marks a 0.94% decrease from Friday's average of 1.80 euros. The cheapest gasoline, at 1.67 euros per liter, was available at five Baltic Petroleum stations, four Emsi network stations, and an Alauša network station in Ukmergė.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices ranged from 0.66 to 0.94 euros, averaging 0.76 euros. This is a 0.52% increase from Friday's average. The lowest gas price was found at a Bonsa station in Tauragė district, while the highest, 0.94 euros per liter, was at a Tumasa station in Mažeikiai district. Wholesale gasoline prices on July 31 were 1.64 euros, and diesel was 1.95 euros per liter. Brent crude oil prices closed at $90.12 per barrel on Friday.
