Lithuania's Defense Ministry: 30.1% of 2026 budget used in first half

Significant portions are earmarked for specific areas: 1.7 billion euros for armaments and military equipment, approximately 305 million euros for air defense, about 480 million euros from the State Defense Fund for the development of national division capabilities, around 50 million euros for German brigade infrastructure, and approximately 240 million euros for the expansion of military infrastructure.
