Lithuania's position on recognizing Palestine and the Middle East conflict

Lithuania supports the two-state solution as the path forward for resolving the Middle East conflict, but its recognition of a Palestinian state is contingent upon significant conditions being met. According to Lithuania's Foreign Affairs Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, Palestine must possess a clearly defined territory and functioning governing institutions.
