Lithuanian Band '8 Kambarys' Releases New Single, Announces Acoustic Concert

After an extended and challenging creative period, Lithuanian music group "8 Kambarys" has unveiled their latest single, "Dėl tavęs" (For You). The band members shared that the song's creation was a demanding process, involving multiple revisions before they were satisfied with the third version.

"The song creation process was long and difficult. We like to create from feeling and trust our intuition. However, this time we were only satisfied with the third version of the song. Something was always missing before, so it was perfected for a long time," the group stated. They believe the new track represents their roots adapted for the present day, with Deividas hinting, "What we are creating now should surprise."

The members emphasized the dedication and unconditional love poured into "Dėl tavęs." Deividas explained his contribution: "One hundred percent, you must feel your emotions, whether they are good or bad. You must participate in the feeling, not run away from it, and only then can you find out everything about yourself." Karolis was inspired by a documentary about a couple robbing banks, likening the song's lyric "The world can sink, burn, I will do anything for you" to a modern Bonnie and Clyde narrative.

Co-author Kotryna described the song as being about a person who makes the world seem brighter even in difficult circumstances. She was invited to collaborate after Deividas heard her singing the chorus lines on social media. "I am sincerely grateful for this experience, trust, and the opportunity to be a part of this creation," Kotryna expressed.

Currently, "8 Kambarys" is focused on exploring new musical sounds in the studio. They plan to spend the summer performing in Lithuania and preparing for a significant acoustic concert on September 11 in Vilnius. "We have fallen in love with acoustic concerts and the intimacy they offer with the audience. It will be a very beautiful and genuine concert in every sense. Completely live, with even more musicians. We have never done that before. We will announce more details soon," the band revealed.
