Lithuanian motorcyclist films dangerous overtake, but his own violations are revealed

A motorcyclist in Lithuania captured a risky maneuver on camera, only to reveal his own traffic violations. The video, shared by "Reidas TV," shows a motorcyclist overtaking a car on the Kėdainiai–Jonava road. As the motorcyclist completes the pass, another car passes him in a "double overtake."

The motorcyclist was not only in the process of overtaking but also failed to return to his lane after passing the initial vehicle. He was preparing to overtake another car ahead when an Audi sped past him, executing a double overtake. Dashcam data revealed the motorcyclist was exceeding the speed limit. On rural roads, the maximum speed is 90 km/h. The motorcyclist began his first overtake at 102 km/h and was traveling at 117 km/h when the Audi passed him, later reaching 120 km/h.

Dangerous driving, including risky overtaking, can result in fines of 170 to 230 euros and a license suspension of three to six months. Since 2022, penalties for speeding apply equally to motorcyclists and car drivers.
