Lithuanian Parliament Speaker to Visit Kėdainiai for Development, Healthcare Talks

Lithuanian Parliament Speaker Juozas Olekas is scheduled to visit Kėdainiai on Tuesday for a series of meetings focused on the region's development and healthcare services. The visit aims to foster dialogue between national leadership and local stakeholders.

Olekas's itinerary includes discussions with Kėdainiai district mayor Valentinas Tamulis and other municipal administrators. Key topics will include prospects for regional development, attracting investments, and addressing healthcare challenges pertinent to the residents. The parliamentary speaker will also discuss preparations for Lithuania's upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The agenda also features visits to the Kėdainiai Primary Health Care Center and Kėdainiai Hospital. Here, Olekas will engage with the management of these institutions to discuss regional healthcare challenges, strategies for attracting more medical specialists, and ensuring the delivery of quality services.

Beyond official meetings, Olekas plans to visit the Kėdainiai Evangelical Reformed Church and the mausoleum of the Dukes Radvila. He will also tour the Dutch-owned bicycle factory "Pon.Bike" to discuss its development prospects and business expectations from the state. The visit will conclude with a meeting with the local community at the Kėdainiai Mykolas Daukša Public Library.
