He was previously arrested in 2015 for drug distribution and, during that arrest, narcotics were found in his possession. In 2017, he used an illegally owned firearm in public, injuring two people before fleeing the scene. Following an extensive search, he was apprehended in Portugal in December 2022 based on a European arrest warrant issued by Lithuania. After legal proceedings, he was extradited to Lithuania in March 2023 and placed in Kaunas prison. His sentence was later reduced from seven and a half years to three and a half years.
