Lithuanian TV Host Helps Man Discover His Singing Voice

TV host Paulius Vaitiekūnas has undertaken a unique mission to help Eimantas, a man passionate about music but hesitant to believe in his own vocal talent, find his voice. Eimantas's mother, Falmira, was the driving force behind his participation, convinced her son sings better than he realizes and determined to dispel his doubts.

Eimantas had often stated, "When a professional singer tells me I can sing, then I will believe it." To address this, Vaitiekūnas arranged a surprise for him, beginning with a visit to the recording studio of Deivydas Zvonkus, one of Lithuania's most renowned music producers. Upon entering the studio, Eimantas understood this was more than a family joke; he was about to receive an unvarnished assessment of his vocal potential.

Following his initial recordings, Eimantas faced another surprise: opera singer and vocal coach Ieva Prudnikovaitė joined the team. Eimantas admitted this was the moment he feared most. However, Prudnikovaitė delivered the affirmation he desperately needed, stating, "You have a wonderful voice." Zvonkus added that with dedication and practice, Eimantas could confidently perform on television projects.

Reflecting on the experience, Vaitiekūnas expressed his emotions, emphasizing the importance of Eimantas answering his own questions about singing. "The most important thing was for him to answer the question for himself, whether he can and wants to sing. It seems today he received all the answers," the host said.
