Lithuania's U20 men's basketball team launched its European Championship campaign with a commanding win against Latvia. The team secured a decisive victory, demonstrating strong performance throughout the latter stages of the game.

Latvia held a narrow lead of 26:23 after the first quarter. However, Lithuania seized control in the second period, building a significant advantage to lead 55:47 by halftime. The team further extended its dominance in the third quarter, establishing a commanding 79:61 lead after 30 minutes of play.
