Living in France, Vilina invites Lithuanians on free trips – a long line of interested people has formed

Vilina Šimeliūnas, a Lithuanian who has resided in France for three decades, has initiated a unique program offering free guided tours to her compatriots. Her initiative invites Lithuanians to visit France and explore regions like Normandy and the Paris area alongside her.

Šimeliūnas, who adopted the French-friendly name Vilina from her given name Vilija, does not charge for her services as a guide. She embraces her role as a cultural ambassador, finding great satisfaction in connecting with and showing fellow Lithuanians around France. The response to her offer has been overwhelming, with a substantial list of interested individuals forming.
