London Celebrates Pride LGBTI+ with Massive Parade, Madonna Absent

Tens of thousands of people filled the streets of London on Saturday for the annual LGBTI+ Pride parade. This year's event was notably marked by the absence of American artist Madonna, who, despite widespread rumors, did not participate.

Organizers reported that approximately 35,000 individuals from around 600 groups and companies marched, starting from Hyde Park and proceeding through iconic locations like Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square towards Whitehall. British media indicated that Madonna's team had been in communication with the Pride organizers, but her attendance was never confirmed. Pride In London added, "We have two wonderful headliners at Trafalgar Square to conclude this brilliant day of protest and celebration."

Beyond the central parade, London Pride features a comprehensive program of activities with stages across the city and various private events. The organizers anticipate over a million attendees throughout the weekend.
