LTA funding cut as digital upgrade continues

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) faces a budget cut of $2.9 million for the 2026-2027 financial year, shifting government priorities toward digital transformation and enhanced transport services. Finance Minister Esrom Immanuel stated the reduced allocation, down from $41.7 million to $38.8 million, will still support crucial projects.
