Macinka caught in a security stunt with an anonymous man in a balaclava, opposition says

A photograph taken from a video circulating online shows Foreign Minister Petr Macinka sitting for an interview with a man in a balaclava. The masked man was reportedly an anonymous figure using the nickname Thomas Paukner.

According to the Detektivní parta group, Macinka became involved in a security experiment without realizing it. The group says he arrived at the studio without bodyguards and found himself near replica weapons and a dummy explosive.

Macinka rejects the allegations. Opposition politicians have criticized his conduct, turning the incident into a political dispute over the minister’s security arrangements and judgment.
