Macron highlighted recent diplomatic engagements as instrumental in bringing European and American stances closer together.

This alignment, according to Macron, began at the G7 summit and continued through the European Council meeting. Leaders aim to solidify this unity at the upcoming NATO summit and a subsequent meeting focused on support for Ukraine. A key development noted by Macron was the unanimous agreement among G7 members on a common text, a first in 18 months.
