Madhuri Dixit roped in to host the Marathi version of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’

Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit is set to host the Marathi adaptation of the popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati,' which will be titled 'Kon Honaar Crorepati.' This marks Dixit's first time hosting any version of the franchise.

Sources close to the production revealed that Dixit has been finalized for the role, with the promo shoot already completed. The official introduction of Dixit as the host is expected during the premiere of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' Season 18 on August 10, which will be hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

The decision to cast Dixit reportedly stems from her immense popularity and deep connection with audiences in Maharashtra. As a native of the state, she is seen as having a strong emotional bond with viewers and has consistently promoted Marathi culture.

While this is her hosting debut for 'Kon Honaar Crorepati,' Dixit has prior experience in Marathi cinema, starring in the 2018 film 'Bucket List.' She has also served as a talent judge on dance reality shows and appeared in various films and a Netflix series.
