Main Water Line Bursts, Damaging Car Window

A major water supply line ruptured unexpectedly in the Torba - Gölköy road area near Demirbükü, sending pressurized water meters into the air and creating a significant spectacle. The force of the explosion tore open the asphalt, forming a large crater and causing tons of water to flow to waste.

The incident caused considerable disruption, leading to long queues of vehicles on the road. The dramatic scene was captured on mobile phone cameras, showing the extent of the water gushing upwards. In addition to the traffic problems, debris from the ruptured asphalt and surrounding material damaged the rear window of a passing automobile.

Emergency services from the Muğla Water and Sewerage Administration (MUSKİ) were dispatched to the scene. They implemented safety measures to manage traffic flow while working to stop the water supply to the damaged line. Extensive repair operations have commenced to fix the broken pipeline and restore normal service.
